Biography

NFL CAREER – Originally drafted by the Minnesota Vikings in the first round of the 2014 NFL Draft (32nd overall) out of Louisville, Bridgewater brings starting experience to the Saints quarterback room. Acquired from the New York Jets in the 2018 preseason, The Miami, Fla. native has posted career numbers of 6,268 yards passing, 29 touchdowns and 23 interceptions, while completing 64.6% of his passes for an 85.9 passer rating in 35 career games (29 starts). Bridgewater has added four touchdowns on the ground and three total two-point conversions (one rushing, two passing).
