Biography

NFL CAREER – Entering his eighth season, Thomas is regarded as one of the NFL's premier wide receivers. In 2019, the former Ohio State standout was selected to the Pro Bowl for the third consecutive season and selected an Associated Press first-team All-Pro for the second consecutive campaign and as an AP NFL Offensive Player of the Year. He won his second consecutive NFL receiving title, totaling a league-record 149 receptions for a team-record 1,725 yards, the seventh-highest total in league history. His nine touchdown grabs tied for the team lead. Thomas has always shown an exceptional ability to make the tough catch. In 2021, Thomas spent the entire season on the Physically Unable to Perform list while rehabbing from an ankle injury he suffered early in 2020. Thomas regained his dominant form early in 2022, catching 16 passes for 171 yards and three touchdowns in the first three games of the season before suffering a season-ending toe injury. In his first five campaigns, he recorded 510 receptions for 5,950 yards and 32 touchdowns, the most receptions by a player in NFL history in his first five seasons, reaching the milestone in an NFL record 69 games
