NFL CAREER – After being acquired by the Saints via trade in the 2015 offseason, Max Unger has anchored the middle of the New Orleans line for the past three seasons, starting all 47 contests he's appeared in at center and serving as a team captain in 2016 and 2017. Originally a second round draft pick of the Seattle Seahawks in 2009, Unger has been named a first-team All-Pro by the Associated Press in 2012 and is a two-time Pro Bowler. The Hawaii native has opened all 114 games he has played in since 2009.
