NFL CAREER – Joined New Orleans for the stretch run of the 2019 campaign, Jenkins appeared in 15 regular season games for the Giants and Saints, starting 14 contests, posting 61 tackles (50 solo), five interceptions and 16 passes defensed. Overall, he has played in 115 regular-season games with 112 starts, and has started the two postseason games in which he has played. His career statistics include 485 tackles (423 solo), 23 interceptions, including seven returned for touchdowns, 111 passes defensed, six forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, and two sacks. Has also scored touchdowns on returns of a fumble recovery and a blocked field goal. Jenkins has scored nine career touchdowns – seven interception returns, one fumble return, one blocked punt return, first among active defensive players.

Tied with team-high three interceptions, and scored touchdowns on two of them, including a 43-yarder at Denver, Oct. 15 and 53-yarder at Washington, Nov. 23 in final game of season. Finished season with 49 tackles (44 solo), three interceptions, one sack, a career-high 18 passes defensed, one forced fumble, and the first Pro Bowl selection of his career. Routinely covered the opposition's best receiver and twice held Dallas' Dez Bryant to a single catch…Named NFC Special Teams Player of the Week when he returned ball 65 yards for a TD after Johnathan Hankins blocked 38-yard field goal vs. New Orleans, Sept. 18. HS, where won four state titles and earned first-team Class 2B all-state honors as senior…Two-way star collected six interceptions and recorded over 80 tackles as senior, gaining over 1,000 yards on offense…Nickname "Jackrabbit" originated in college at Florida, when he coach always noticed him running.
