New Orleans Saints and Pelicans host members of the U.S. Women's National Soccer Team

The U.S. Women's National Soccer Team is in New Orleans for a few days as they prepare for their final exhibition of their Victory Tour against China PR at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome on Wednesday, Dec. 16 (7 p.m. CT FOX Sports 1 and FOX Sports GO).

While in town, team members Carli Lloyd, Jaelene Hinkle, Samantha Mewis and Stephanie McCaffrey visited the New Orleans Saints and Pelicans facility on Tuesday.

Their day started with a meeting with coach Sean Payton in his office.

Payton then lead the group on a tour of the Saints facility through the coaches' offices, trainng room, weight room and practice fields.

The soccer crew then toured the Pelicans facility and had lunch in the team cafeteria.

"We got to know coach Sean Payton and he's been awesome," Lloyd said on the Black and Blue Report. "It's been fantastic. We met some of the players. It's good to get into another team's environment to see how they operate. We have enjoyed it."

The U.S. Women's National Team won its third Women's World Cup earlier this summer, defeating Japan 5-2 on July 5 in front of more than 53,000 fans at BC Place in Vancouver. The match was watched by a domestic TV audience of more than 25 million, making it the most watched soccer game in U.S. history.
