New Orleans Saints Executive Vice President/General Manager Mickey Loomis announced today that the club has signed free agent defensive tackle Jayden Peevy, wide receiver Roderick Daniels Jr., and re-signed tight end Seth Green. In corresponding moves, the club has placed center/guard Will Clapp on Injured Reserve and waived/injured tight end Mason Pline.

Peevy, 6-5, 308, is a four-year NFL veteran who was originally signed as a free agent by the Tennessee Titans following the 2022 NFL Draft out of Texas A&M. The Bellaire, Texas native has played in six career games with Tennessee (2022-23) and the Carolina Panthers (2024), recording six tackles (two solo), 1.5 sacks, one pass breakup, and one forced fumble. Peevy also spent time on the practice squad with the Titans (2022-23), Panthers (2023-24) and Houston Texans (2024).

In five collegiate seasons with the Aggies (2017-21), Peevy played in 58 games with 24 starts and finished with 137 tackles (49 solo), 7.5 sacks, 20 stops for a loss, one interception, eight pass breakups, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, and four blocked kicks. As a senior in 2021, he started all 11 games he played in and was named the Aggies' 'Defensive Mr. Dependable Award' winner.

Daniels Jr., 5-9, 186, joins New Orleans as an undrafted free agent. The Duncanville, Texas native played in 52 games with 12 starts in four seasons at SMU (2021-24), recording 105 catches for 1,485 yards (14.1 avg.) with 12 touchdowns and rushed 75 times for 285 yards (3.8 avg.) and four touchdowns. He also handled the punt return duties for the Mustangs for three seasons (2022-24), returning 56 punts for 592 yards (10.6 avg.) with two scores. As a senior in 2024, he appeared in all 14 games with eight starts, recording career highs of 42 receptions for 663 yards (15.8 avg.), tied a career high with four receiving touchdowns, and added 160 rushing yards on 44 carries (3.6 avg.).

Green, 6-3, 242, originally signed as an undrafted free agent with the Houston Texans following the 2022 NFL Draft, spending two months on the practice squad with Dallas Cowboys. He also participated in Dallas' 2023 training camp and preseason. The Woodbury, Minn. native has played the past two seasons with the Arlington Renegades of the United Football League, appearing in 20 games with eight starts and posting 24 catches for 236 yards (9.8 avg.) with two touchdowns. In 2025, Green finished with 13 receptions for 159 yards (12.2 avg.) and one touchdown.

In six collegiate seasons with Minnesota (2016-20) and the University of Houston (2021), Green appeared in 47 games with three starts, recording 19 catches for 240 yards (12.6 avg.) with three touchdowns and rushed 114 times for 388 yards (3.4 avg.) and 15 touchdowns as a wildcat quarterback with the Golden Gophers.
