New Orleans Saints Executive Vice President/General Manager Mickey Loomis announced today that the club has signed running back Evan Hull to the practice squad and terminated the practice squad contract of defensive tackle Coziah Izzard.

Hull, 5-10, 209, was originally signed by the Indianapolis Colts as an undrafted free agent out of Northwestern in 2023. In his career, he has appeared in two games for the Colts (2023-24), carrying once for one yard and had a six-yard reception in the 2023 season opener. In the 2024 preseason with the Pittsburgh Steelers, he carried 11 times for 33 yards and caught two passes for eight yards.

At Northwestern, the Maple Grove, Minn. native played in 37 career games (23 starts), posting career total of 488 rushes for 2,417 yards (5.0 avg.) with 18 touchdowns and had 94 receptions for 851 yards with four touchdowns. He garnered All-Big Ten Honorable Mention recognition in each of his last two seasons (2021-22). As a senior in 2022, he started all 12 games and finished with 221 carries for 913 yards and five touchdowns, also tallying 55 receptions (led all FBS running backs) for 546 yards with two touchdowns.
