Drew Brees nominated for NFL's Clutch Performer of the Week

Drew Brees threw for seven touchdowns and 505 yards in Sunday’s win against the New York Giants

Drew Brees has been nominated for the NFL's Clutch Performer of the Week, the league announced Tuesday morning.

Fans can vote for Drew Brees here. The winner of the weekly accolade will be announced on Thursday.

Brees completed 39 of 50 passes (78%) for 505 yards and seven touchdowns for a 131.7 passer rating in the Saints' 52-49 win over the Giants.

Brees became the eighth quarterback in NFL history with seven touchdown passes in a single game, tying the league record. His seventh touchdown pass went to C.J. Spiller, and it tied the game with just 36 seconds remaining. After a Giants punt, the Saints kicked a 50-yard field goal to win the game from Kai Forbath in the 52-49 win over the New York
