Saints defensive end Cameron Jordan recorded the 126th sack of his career surpassing Dwight Freeney for 19th all-time in NFL history

The New Orleans Saints fell to the Atlanta Falcons 24-10, dropping to 2-9. Next, they travel to Miami to face the Dolphins at noon CT on FOX (locally WVUE-8).

Quarterback Tyler Shough finished 30 of 43 for 243 yards, an interception, and a 74.1 passer rating. He also rushed seven times for 22 yards.

Quarterback Taysom Hill and running back Devin Neal led the rushing effort with 17 and 18 yards, respectively. Neal also caught five passes for 43 yards, setting career highs in both receptions and receiving yards.

Hill played in his 112th career regular-season game, surpassing offensive lineman Andrus Peat for sole possession of 39th place all-time in club history.

Receiver Chris Olave caught nine passes for 70 yards to lead all wideouts in his 50th career game.

Tight end Juwan Johnson caught six passes for 46 yards and now has 49 receptions, one shy of tying his career high of 50 set last season.

Receiver Mason Tipton returned a kickoff 75 yards in the first quarter — the longest of his career and the longest for New Orleans this season. It is also the team's longest kickoff return since Deonte Hardy's 75-yarder on 11/15/20 vs. San Francisco. Tipton also had three receptions for 22 yards and one rush for 11 yards.

Defensive end Cameron Jordan recorded two solo tackles and a sack — the 126th of his career — surpassing Dwight Freeney for 19th all-time in NFL history. It was also his 25th sack in 29 career games vs. Atlanta. Jordan is now tied with defensive end Carl Granderson for the team lead in sacks (4.5).

Jordan also played in his 237th career regular-season game, surpassing Clyde Simmons and Ted Washington for seventh-most all-time by a defensive lineman in NFL history.

Safety Justin Reid recorded seven tackles (three solo) and returned an interception 49 yards for a touchdown — his first interception as a Saint and his first pick-six since a 101-yard return as a rookie on 11/18/18 at Washington.

This was the first interception returned for a touchdown by the Saints since Tyrann Mathieu’s 27-yard return at New England on 10/8/23.

Linebacker Demario Davis led the team with 11 total tackles (six solo). He has now reached 100 tackles for the ninth consecutive season and the eighth straight as a Saint.

Safeties Jonas Sanker and Justin Reid each recorded seven tackles.

Cornerback Kool-Aid McKinstry posted two solo tackles and a pass breakup, setting a career high with eight pass breakups on the season.

Linebacker Isaiah Stalbird recorded three tackles and the first sack of his NFL career, taking down Falcons quarterback Kirk Cousins late in the second quarter.

Defensive end Chase Young finished with four tackles (one solo) and a sack — his fourth sack in six games this season and his fourth game with a sack.

Defensive end Jonathan Bullard recorded one tackle and appeared in his 125th career game.

Tight end Foster Moreau played in his 100th career game.

Long snapper Zach Wood played in his 143rd game, tying receiver Eric Martin for 18th on the club's all-time games played list.
