Game Notes: Atlanta Falcons 24, New Orleans Saints 10 | 2025 NFL Week 12

Saints DE Cameron Jordan recorded the 126th sack of his career surpassing Dwight Freeney for 19th all-time in NFL history

  • The New Orleans Saints fell to the Atlanta Falcons 24-10, dropping to 2-9 on the season. Next, they travel to Miami to face the Dolphins at 12 p.m. CT on FOX (locally FOX 8 WVUE).
  • QB Tyler Shough finished 30-for-43 for 243 yards, an interception, and a 74.1 passer rating. He also rushed seven times for 22 yards.
  • QB Taysom Hill and RB Devin Neal led the rushing effort with 17 and 18 yards, respectively. Neal also caught five passes for 43 yards, setting career highs in both receptions and receiving yards.
  • Hill played in his 112th career regular-season game, surpassing OL Andrus Peat for sole possession of 39th place all-time in club history.
  • WR Chris Olave caught nine passes for 70 yards to lead all wideouts in his 50th career game.
  • TE Juwan Johnson caught six passes for 46 yards and now has 49 receptions on the season, one shy of tying his career high of 50 set last year.
  • WR Mason Tipton returned a kickoff 75 yards in the first quarter — the longest of his career and the longest for New Orleans this season. It is also the team's longest kickoff return since Deonte Hardy's 75-yarder on 11/15/20 vs. San Francisco. Tipton also had three receptions for 22 yards and one rush for 11 yards.
  • DE Cameron Jordan recorded two solo tackles and a sack — the 126th of his career — surpassing Dwight Freeney for 19th all-time in NFL history. It was also his 25th sack in 29 career games vs. Atlanta. Jordan is now tied with DE Carl Granderson for the team lead in sacks (4.5).
  • Jordan also played in his 237th career regular-season game, surpassing Clyde Simmons and Ted Washington for seventh-most all-time by a defensive lineman in NFL history.
  • S Justin Reid recorded seven tackles (three solo) and returned an interception 49 yards for a touchdown — his first interception as a Saint and his first pick-six since a 101-yard return as a rookie on 11/18/18 at Washington.
  • LB Demario Davis led the team with 11 total tackles (six solo). He has now reached 100 tackles for the ninth consecutive season and the eighth straight as a Saint.
  • Safeties Jonas Sanker and Justin Reid each recorded seven tackles.
  • CB Kool-Aid McKinstry posted two solo tackles and a pass breakup, setting a new career high with eight pass breakups on the season.
  • LB Isaiah Stalbird recorded three tackles and the first sack of his NFL career, taking down Falcons QB Kirk Cousins late in the second quarter.
  • DE Chase Young finished with four tackles (one solo) and a sack — his fourth sack in six games this season and his fourth game with a sack.
  • DE Jonathan Bullard recorded one tackle and appeared in his 125th career game.
  • LS Zach Wood played in his 143rd game, tying WR Eric Martin for 18th on the club's all-time games played list.
