Biography

NFL CAREER – Chris Banjo joined the Saints in Week 11 after beginning the 2016 season with the Green Bay Packers for whom he was a three-year contributor, to provide depth and competition at cornerback and on the special teams units. After originally participating in rookie minicamps with Oakland and Pittsburgh in 2012, the 5-foot-10-inch, 207-pounder has played in 60 games with two starts for the Packers and Saints, racking up 23 tackles (19 solo), three passes defensed, while adding 49 coverage stops.  In his first full season in New Orleans, he played in all 16 regular season games and made four tackles, one interception, one pass defensed, one fumble recovery and eight stops and one forced fumble on coverage and also played in both postseason contests.
