  • DE Charles Grant prepped at Miller County (Ga.) HS and starred for the Bulldogs from 1999-2001.
  • Secondary coach Dennis Allen coaching assistant MIke Cerullo, defensive line coach Bill Johnson and quarterbacks coach Joe Lombardi served on the Falcons coaching staff.
  • Atlanta CB Chevis Jackson played at LSU from 2004-07…Atlanta C Todd McClure played at LSU.
  • Assistant defensive line coach Travis Jones is an Irwinton, Ga. native who played at Georgia from 1990-95 and served as a graduate assistant from 1997-98.
  • Falcons offensive line coach Paul Boudreau served in the same position in New Orleans from 1987-93.
  • Atlanta wide receivers coach Terry Robiskie is an Edgard, La. native who starred at LSU.
  • Falcons tight ends coach Chris Scelfo is a New Iberia native who served as head coach at Tulane from 1998-2006.
  • S Chris Reis prepped at Roswell (Ga.) HS, attended Georgia Tech and went to camp with Atlanta in 2006.
  • DL Anthony Hargrove played for Georgia Tech from 2001-03.
  • Head Coach Sean Payton, assistant head coach/linebackers Joe Vitt and Atlanta assistant head coach/secondary Emmitt Thomas served on the same staff in Philadelphia. Vitt and Thomas also served on the same staff in Green Bay in 1999, where they tutored S Darren Sharper.
  • Atlanta recently signed former Saints RB and special teams captain Aaron Stecker. The Western Illinois product was with the Saints from 2004-2008.
