Saints suffer second loss of season

SAINTS POSTGAME NOTES

The Cowboys defeated the Saints 13-10 to end New Orleans' 10-game winning streak. 

Head Coach Sean Payton coached in his 200th career game (regular season and postseason combined).

 QB Drew Brees completed 18 of 28 passes for 127 yards, and one touchdown. Brees played in his 261st career game, moving him into a tie for 31st all-time in NFL record books with Carolina Panthers DE Julius Peppers. Brees became the only player ever with 10 30-touchdown seasons, surpassing Brett Favre and Peyton Manning

RBAlvin Kamarafinished with a team-high eight receptions tallying 36 yards. Kamara rushed for 36 yards, surpassing his rookie total of 726 rushing yards. He now has 742 rushing yards. 

WR Michael Thomas finished with five catches for 40 yards. Thomas joins Odell Beckham Jr. (2014-16) and Randy Moss (1998-2000) as the only players in league history to record at least 1,100 receiving yards in each of their first three seasons. Thomas joins Beckham as only the second player in league history to record at least 90 catches in each of their first three seasons. 

WR Keith Kirkwoodrecorded his second-career touchdown, hauling in a 30-yard touchdown pass. 

TE Dan Arnold recorded two receptions for 20 yards. 

DE Cameron Jordanstarted in his 124th consecutive game, having never missed a game, moving into a tie with WR Devery Hendersonand S Roman Harperfor 27th on the club's all-time games played list. Jordan tallied 2.0 sacks, including one strip sack. Jordan now has 69.5 career sacks, moving into sole possession of fourth place. He has four-career double-digit sack seasons (10 this season).

DE Sheldon Rankins recorded four tackles (two solo). 

DT David Onyematatallied 3.0 sacks, including one strip sack. Onyemata doubled his career sack total in the first quarter. He finished with seven tackles (four solo). 

LB A.J. Klein recorded five tackles (two solo), including 1.0 sack.

LB Alex Anzalonenotched five tackles (three solo). 

LB Demario Davis lead the team with 11 tackles (five solo). 

CB Marshon Lattimorenotched 10 tackles (nine solo) and forced and recovered a fumble. 

Marcus Williams recorded two solo tackles.

Vonn Bell tallied six tackles (one solo), including one TFL. 

Wil Lutznailed a 33-yard field goal and converted an extra point. Lutz is now in sole possession of the club's second-longest streak for consecutive field goals. Lutz has 81 career field goals, the fifth-highest total in club history. 

Thomas Morstead punted four times for 206 total yards (51.5 average) with a long of 57 yards.
