Featured Presentations:
PLAY FOOTBALL MONTH: Designed to promote the sport as well as the intrinsic values gained through participation in youth football. This initiative encourages children, parents, coaches, and administrators to celebrate the start of football season throughout the month, by participating in special football events in their communities including clinics, skills competitions, scrimmages, picnics and parades.

STAR PERFORMANCE AWARD PRESENTATION:
Members of the Professional Football Strength and Conditioning Coaches Society will present Saints' Owner/Executive Vice president Rita Benson LeBlanc with the Inaugural Star Performance Award. This award is given to individuals that have made outstanding contributions to Youth Football and show dedication to their community as a civic leader in youth development.

    COURTNEY COLE

    Courtney Cole, originally from Mandeville, Louisiana, is a senior at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee where she pursuing a degree in Commercial Voice and Music Business. Over the years she has opened for Billy Preston and Mavis Staples at the 2002 Orleans Parish Educators Convention, Opened for "Legends In Concert" Production as well as opened for "Chapter One," the #1 Mo-Town R&B Revue, sang for the induction of Fats Domino into the New Orleans Hall of Fame, and sang with Wardell Quezergue's Big Band. She was featured during the NFL Monday Night Football Halftime Show, took part in the Super Bowl XXXVI festivities at Fox Field, and sang the National Anthem at the 2002 Nokia Sugar Bowl Classic Basketball Tournament as well as other college sporting events. Her entertainment has been requested by well-respected corporations and organizations such as the Louisiana Tourist Commission, Blue Cross of Louisiana, Coca-Cola, Jostens Corporation, the Wal-Mart Corporation, AIG Insurance, and the Louisiana Department of Education. In addition, Courtney has been a finalist in the 2003, 2004, and 2005 Miss Teen Louisiana Pageant, and was in the top ten at the Miss Louisiana Pageant. Recently, she was chosen to be a featured performer in Chris Owens' annual Easter Parade held in the historic French Quarter in New Orleans. Also, she made it to the third round of American Idol's, season 7, competition. Courtney continues to pursue a career in Nashville, and hopes to become a familiar face in country music.
  1. Color Guard
    OKALOOSA COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE HONOR GUARD (FL Gulf Coast):  The colors will be presented by the Okaloosa County Sheriff's Honor Guard under the supervision of Sheriff Charlie Morris, in tribute to Deputy Anthony Forgione, who was recently lost in the line of duty.

HALFTIME SHOW

  1. Featured Entertainment:
    To help celebrate the PLAY FOOTBALL initiative, local youth tackle football teams will attend the game and feature as the halftime entertainment. The teams that will be participating in the pre-game and halftime exhibition are:
    • Pop Warner Team (Midget Division: Ages 11-15) - Baton Rouge Giants
    • Pop Warner Team (Midget Division: Ages 11-15) - Polo Club Esquires
    • Denham Springs Yellow Jackets
    • Select Members of S.L.Y.F.A. (South Louisiana Youth Football Association)
