John DeShazier: Tommylee Lewis active for Giants game

Returner Marcus Murphy is inactive

East Rutherford, N.J. - The big take from the New Orleans Saints' inactive list Sunday?

Running back/returner Marcus Murphy is on it, and receiver Tommylee Lewis isn't. So Lewis, the free agent rookie who was recommended to Coach Sean Payton by Payton's mentor, Bill Parcells, probably will be the man for the Saints in the return game against the Giants (don't count out Travaris Cadet, though). It'll be the regular-season debut for Lewis, who was a training camp/preseason phenom of sorts and arguably is the fastest player on the roster (though Brandin Cooks has a lot to say about that). No surprise among the other inactives; among them, linebacker Dannell Ellerbe and tight end Josh Hill are injured and didn't practice this week, cornerback Delvin Breaux is recovering from his fractured fibula and cornerback B.W. Webb just joined the team last week.
