  • New Orleans Coach Sean Payton served on the Giants staff from 1999-2002 including handling offensive coordinator duties from 2000-02. His first season as coordinator in 2000, when the Giants captured the NFC title and went to Super Bowl XXXV, New York scored 328 points - the club's highest total since 1990 - and finished 13th in the NFL in total offense
  • New Orleans offensive assistant Brendan Nugent prepped at and coached at Archbishop Stepinac (White Plains, N.Y.) High School
  • Giants quarterback Eli Manning is a New Orleans native who's the son of former University of Mississippi and Saints quarterback and Ring of Honor member Archie Manning. He prepped at Isidore Newman School and then starred at Ole' Miss, where he became only the fifth quarterback in Southeastern Conference record books to throw for more than 10,000 career yards

  • New York offensive line coach Hal Hunter served as offensive line coach at LSU from 1995-98, serving as assistant head coach in 1999 and serving as interim head coach for the season finale, coaching them to a 35-20 season-ending win over Arkansas
  • New York assistant offensive line coach Ben Wilkerson played at LSU from 2001-04, servedas a graduate assistant at his alma mater in 2011 and served as, offensive line coach at Grambling State from 2012-13.
