- The New Orleans Saints dropped its preseason game to the Los Angeles Rams, 34-0. The Saints will return to action for the team's preseason finale at the Dallas Cowboys on Friday, August 28. The contest aAT&T Stadium will kickoff at 7:00 p.m. CT and will be regionally televised on Gray Media's network of stations (WVUE FOX 8 in the greater New Orleans area).
- The Saints finished with 293 total net yards. New Orleans was 20-of-35 for 196 passing yards and had 105 rushing yards on 26 carries.
- QB Zach Wilson got the start and finished the game completing 6-of-12 passes for 55 yards and one interception, while carrying four times for 19 yards.
- QB Spencer Rattler finished the game completing 14-of-23 passes for 141 yards and one interception, while carrying five times for 21 yards.
- RB Kendre Miller made his preseason debut and led the Saints rushing attack with 22 yards on six carries.
- RB Ty Chandler also added 21 rushing yards on six carries.
- RB CJ Donaldson finished with 15 rushing yards on three carries and led the Saints in receiving yards with four catches for 51 yards.
- Donaldson had a 32-yard reception in the third quarter that took New Orleans inside the red zone.
- TE Moliki Matavao had three catches for 34 yards.
- WR Jalen Moreno-Cropper had two catches for 34 yards, including a 25-yard reception in the third quarter.
- LB Jackson Sirmon led the Saints with 11 total tackles, including five solo tackles.
- CB Mike Reid had seven total tackles (three solo) and added one special teams stop.
- DB Lorenzo Styles Jr. and TJ Hall Jr. each had six total tackles.
- LB Isaiah Stalbird also had six total tackles.
- The Saints defense recorded three passes defended, with Lorenzo Styles, TJ Hall and Martin Emerson Jr. each recording one.
- DB Elliott Davison led the team with two special teams tackles.
