NFL CAREER – Claimed off of waivers from Green Bay at the conclusion of the 2017 preseason by the Saints, Hill has provided value to New Orleans in multiple spots on both offense and special teams over the past seven seasons. In 2023, Hill continued to excel in a hybrid role, taking snaps at quarterback, tight end and wide receiver positions as well as being a contributor on special teams. Starting seven of 16 contests he appeared in, Hill rushed 81 times for 401 yards and four touchdowns, had a career-best 33 receptions for 291 yards and three touchdowns, and completed 6-of-11 passes for 83 yards and one touchdown, while adding two special teams stops. Hill has 12 career touchdown passes, 27 rushing touchdowns and 12 career receiving scores, making him the first NFL player since Frank Gifford 1952-64) to reach double-digit totals in passing, rushing and receiving touchdowns. In addition to his statistics in reaching the end zone, Hill has carried 398 times for 2,159 yards (5.4 avg.), caught 76 passes for 756 yards, completed 191-of-298 passes (64.1 pct.) for 2,348 yards, returned 19 kickoffs for 447 yards and added 15 special teams stops and a blocked punt. Hill's 5.4 yards per carry average ranks second in franchise history.
