Biography
NFL CAREER – Originally signed by the Baltimore Ravens as an undrafted free agent in 2014, since signing with New Orleans in 2020, versatility and reliability have been a calling card of Hurst. In eight NFL seasons with Baltimore (2014-19) and New Orleans (2020-21), the Plainfield, Ind. native's played in 119 regular season contests with 64 starts at four different offensive line positions, left tackle (26), left guard (22), seven at right guard, six starts as a jumbo tight end and three starts at right tackle. In 2021, Hurst played in all 17 regular season games with 15 starts at four different positions, as one of only two Black and Gold offensive linemen to play in every contest.

2021 – Played in all 17 regular season games with 15 starts at four different positions, opening eight at LT, three at RT, two at LG and two as an extra lineman, one of only two linemen to play in all 17 contests…Vs. Green Bay, Sept. 12, helped block for an offense that produced their highest scoring output of the season with 38 points while allowing zero sacks, a career-high tying five touchdown passes from quarterback Jameis Winston and 171 rushing yards as a team, giving the Saints a 38-3 victory over the Packers…Started at LT and blocked for an offense that totaled a season-high 405 total yards, vs N.Y. Giants, Oct. 3….At Seattle, Oct. 25, started at T in jumbo package, blocking for running back Alvin Kamara as he totaled 179 yards from scrimmage in the Saints' 13-10 Monday Night Football victory…Vs. Tampa Bay, Oct. 31, started at LG as the Saints rushed for 152 yards, helping them earn a 36-27 win over defending Super Bowl champions...Started at LT and blocked for an offense that posted season-high 287 passing yards, at Tennessee, Nov. 14...Vs.
