NFL CAREER – Selected in the sixth round of the 2020 NFL draft out of Washington State by the Jacksonville Jaguars, Luton started three games as a rookie and completed 60-of-110 passes for 624 yards with two touchdowns and carried for a 13-yard touchdown. After spending two games on the active roster of the Saints and the remainder on the practice squad, Luton will take advantage of his first full offseason with the Saints, seeing valuable reps in OTAs, minicamp and training camp and the preseason to continue his development.

2022 – Spent two weeks on Saints active roster and remainder of regular season on practice squad. In the preseason for Jacksonville, completed 22-of-38 passes for 186 yards with one interception. 2021 – After competing in the preseason with Jacksonville, spent four games on Seattle active roster, in addition to practice squad stint and spent final seven weeks on Dolphins practice squad. 2021 – Started in three games in his rookie campaign for Jacksonville, completing 60 of 110 passes (54.5 comp. pct.) for 624 yards and two TDs…Nov. 18 vs. Houston, made his NFL regular season debut and completed 26 of 48 passes for 304 yards and two total TDs (one rushing, one passing). His 304-yard performance marked the most passing yards by a rookie quarterback in their debut in franchise history. His 13-yard rushing TD brought the Jaguars within two points in the final minutes, joining QBs Jonathan Quinn (1998) and Byron Leftwich (2003) as the only rookie signal-callers in franchise history to throw and rush for a TD in the same game.
COLLEGE – Completed his Oregon State career by playing in 23 games for the Beavers, including 21 starts, after spending seasons at Ventura Community College (2016) and Idaho (2015)…Concluded his career ranked fifth at Oregon State with 42 career TD passes and seventh with 5,227 passing yards.
PERSONAL – Attended Marysville-Pitchuck (Marysville, Wash.) HS and led the Tomahawks to the Wesco 3A League Championship as a senior…Three-year starter at quarterback and also earned three letters at pitcher in baseball…Enjoys camping, hiking and playing with his dog.
