NFL CAREER – Selected in the fourth round of the 2021 NFL draft out of Notre Dame, Book made his NFL debut in his lone appearance in 2021, completing 12-of-20 passing for 135 yards and two interceptions. Book will take advantage of his first full offseason as a professional, seeing valuable reps in OTAs, minicamp and training camp to continue his development.

COLLEGE – In four seasons in South Bend, played in 45 games and completed 728-of-1,141 attempts for 8,948 yards, 72 touchdowns and 20 interceptions, while carrying 360 times for 1,518 yards and 17 TDs…The two-time team captain was a Manning Award finalist his graduate/redshirt senior year in 2020, as he led the Fighting Irish into the College Football Playoff, completing 228-of-353 (64.6%) passes for 2,830 yards with 15 touchdowns and only three interceptions, while carrying 116 times for 485 yards and nine touchdowns…In the College Football Playoff semifinal at the Rose Bowl game vs. Alabama, totaled 27 completions for 229 yards, adding 15 rushing attempts for 55 yards and a TD. With his rushing touchdown, Book tied for third all-time among all Irish quarterbacks with 17 rushing touchdowns, joining Rick Mirer. Ended his starting QB career with a 30-5 record, the most wins by a single Notre Dame quarterback in the program's 132-year history…In 2019, as a senior, started all 13 games, completing 240-of-399 passes (62.1%) for 3,034 yards with 34 touchdowns and just six interceptions, while rushing 112 times for 546 yards and four TDs…Became the first QB in Notre Dame history with at least 2,500 passing yards, 500 rushing yards and 30 TD passes in a season…Had five games with four or more touchdowns, the most in a Notre Dame season, while his 34 TDs are second-most by an Irish signal-caller, trailing only Quinn's 37 (2006). In 2018, as a junior took over as the starting quarterback at Wake Forest and finished season 214-of-314 (68.2%) with 19 touchdowns passing, while rushing 95 times for 280 yards and four TDs…Ranked eighth nationally with a 68.2 completion percentage and 17th in pass efficiency.
