Biography

NFL CAREER – Acquired by New Orleans via a Week One trade in 2021 after spending the first five years of his career with the Broncos (2014-18) and two with the Texans (2019-2020), Roby has contributed to the Saints secondary the last two seasons and will be counted on further in 2023. He has recorded 369 career tackles (326 solo), 85 passes defensed, 11 interceptions, 5.0 sacks, 16 tackles for loss, eight forced fumbles, seven fumble recoveries and three interceptions returned for TDs in 126 regular season games played with 60 starts. In six postseason contests with two starts, he's tallied 18 solo tackles, six passes defensed, an interception and one forced fumble. Roby was the third cornerback in NFL history to total at least 300 tackles in their first 45 games started. In 2016, he joined Marcus Peters, Stephon Gilmore and Erik Harris as the only players to record multiple interceptions returned for TDs of more than 50 yards in a season since 2015
