<span style="">Terry Farmer, Head Coach of the South Lafourche Fighting Tarpons in Galliano, LA was selected as the fifth Saints and NFL High School Coach of the Week this season. Coach Farmer's Fighting Tarpons have gotten off to a 4-1 start with a crucial win over Terrebonne last weekend, doubling their combined win total of the past two seasons. This is Farmer's first season at South Lafourche, but he brings with him nineteen years of coaching experience. Since his playing days at Aurora University, Farmer has coached at high schools in Tennessee, Arkansas, and Arizona before coming to South Lafourche.

This Friday, October 9th, the Fighting Tarpons will host South Terrebonne in a game that will decide the district's leader. As acknowledgement of Coach Farmer's improvements this season, the Saints are honored to donate $1,000 toward South Lafourche's Football program. The National Football League and the New Orleans Saints are honored to salute Coach Terry Farmer and his team's accomplishments this season.
