Saints Players, United Way Participate in "Hope for the Holidays" Campaign

Saints players will team up with United Way Southeast Louisiana and Irving Morris for the second annual Hope for the Holidays Gala.

The gala will take place on Friday, Dec. 14, at 6 p.m. CT at the Hyatt Regency Hotel Ballroom in New Orleans.

The event will support the "Hope for the Holidays" project, helping rebuild homes damaged by hurricanes Katrina and Isaac.

The gala includes a night of entertainment, music, dinner and exclusive access to members of the black and gold.

Saints players Roman Harper, Lance Moore, Pierre Thomas, Jahri Evans, Mark Ingram, Malcolm Jenkins, Courtney Roby, Jermon Bushrod and Darren Sproles will be attending the event along with former Saint and current NFL Network analyst Darren Sharper.

Harper and Sharper initially spearheaded the Saints involvement in the Hope for the Holiday's campaign three years ago.

The event will be emceed by four-time NBA Champion John Salley.
