NEW ORLEANS – In response to multiple tornados in and around the Greater New Orleans area on February 7 and the subsequent damage left in the aftermath, the New Orleans Saints and the New Orleans Pelicans are actively participating in emergency relief efforts, including by hosting an immediate drive for necessary relief items.

The Saints and Pelicans are working in conjunction with The United Way, The American Red Cross and The Second Harvest Food Bank to provide immediate and necessary aide to those affected by the tornados.

Utilizing the teams' training facilities (Saints Practice Facility Lobby Museum, 5800 Airline Dr., Metairie, LA 70003) the Saints and Pelicans have immediately established a collection point for the public to drop off non-perishable food items and other tornado-related items of need. According to the Red Cross, there is an immediate need for towels, blankets, toiletries and clothing. Drop off hours at 5800 Airline Drive will be from 8:30 am-5:30 pm.
