SAINTS vs. PATRIOTS MILESTONES TO WATCH

Alvin Kamara

  • Needs 100 rushing yards for his 12th career 100-yard game, tying Ricky Williams (fourth all-time) in club record books.
  • Currently has 4,839 career receiving yards, needing two to pass former Saint Darren Sproles (12th all-time for RBs), 14 to pass Christian McCaffrey (plays Sunday at Tampa Bay, 3:25 CT), 21 to pass Herschel Walker (11th) and 74 to pass Roger Craig (tenth) among running backs. In Saints history, he needs 38 yards to pass Danny Abramowicz for fifth all-time.
  • Kamara currently has 7,062 rushing yards and 4,839 receiving yards. With 161 receiving yards, he would be the fifth player in NFL history to record 5,000 yards in both rushing and receiving with Lenny Moore, Marcus Allen, Marshall Faulk and Tiki Barber. RB Christian McCaffrey is also close to this milestone as well, needing 147 receiving yards to achieve it.
  • His seven career two-point conversions are tied with Pro Football Hall of Fame RB Marshall Faulk for most in NFL history. One more would set the record.

Cameron Jordan

  • Has 124 career sacks, which ranks 20th all-time in NFL record books. Needs 1.5 to tie Dwight Freeney for 19th, 2.0 to surpass Freeney to take 19th place outright and 2.5 to tie LB Derrick Thomas for 18th.
  • If Jordan sacks Patriots' QB Drake Maye, it will make Maye the 50th player for him to drop.
  • With one fumble recovery against the Patriots, Jordan would tie Gene Atkins and Wayne Martin for fourth in club record books for most fumbles recovered with 13.
  • Playing in his 232nd game on Sunday, he will move into a tie for tenth all-time among defensive linemen in games played with Hall of Fame DE Reggie White and Chris Doleman.

Taysom Hill

  • QB Taysom Hill will play in his 107th career regular season game, moving into a tie for 44th on the club's all-time list with LB Pat Swilling and S Gene Atkins.
  • Hill's 33 career rushing touchdowns for a player to not be designated as a running back is tied for 14th all-time with Pro Football Hall of Fame QBs John Elway (Class of 2004), Otto Graham (Class of 1965) and Y.A. Tittle (Class of 1971). With one rushing touchdown, he would move into a tie for 13th with QBs Lamar Jackson and Daunte Culpepper and with two rushing touchdowns, he would move into the top ten in a tie for tenth with QBs Randall Cunningham, Steve Grogan and Aaron Rodgers (note Rodgers and the Steelers play at noon CT Sunday).

Jonas Sanker

  • DB Jonas Sanker has two takeaways on the season, one each in back-to-back games against Buffalo and the New York Giants. With one takeaway against New England on Sunday, it would be the first time that a Saint had one takeaway in three consecutive games since 2017, when Marshon Lattimore had one interception in three consecutive games (12/7/17 – 12/24/17).

Alontae Taylor

  • CB Alontae Taylor has recorded six sacks as a cornerback, which ties him for first in club record books with Alex Molden (1996-2000) at the position. One more sack versus the Giants will push him into sole possession of first place.

Juwan Johnson

  • TE Juwan Johnson's 19 touchdown grabs among Saints tight ends rank fourth in club record books. With two more, he would move into a tie for third with Hoby Brenner.
