By Annie Hills

Chevron and the Saints will continue to show their commitment to the development and education of our children by recognizing Teacher of the Week Kelly Stomps. In her 14th year as an educator, Stomps currently teaches classroom music for kindergarten through third grade students at Woodlake Elementary School.

Stomps was delighted to be selected as Saints/Chevron Teacher of the Week.

"Along with our wonderful music, the Saints are a symbol of the strength and vitality that is at the heart of our Louisiana culture," Stomps said. "As Teacher of the Week, I am proud to represent education in Louisiana and the past, present, and future generations of Saints fans."

Stomps enjoyed the entire experience on Saints gameday.

"From being on the field before the start of the game to seeing the video of my students and I being broadcasted throughout the Mercedes-Benz Superdome, the whole day has been filled with incredible moments that I will cherish forever!"

Stomps earned her Bachelor's Degree in Music Education and Master's Degree in Music at Louisiana State University.
