New Orleans Saints cornerback Keenan Lewis' foundation hosted Taste of Hope on Monday, Nov. 16 at Compass Point in New Orleans.
The event featured Saints silent auction items, shirts for purchase and food and drink samples from local restaurants.
Lewis spent time interacting with attendees and autographing items.
"Being from New Orleans, it means a lot to give back to the community, showing that I care and truly appreciate their support," Lewis said. "It is especially important to help out with the youth."
The Keenan Lewis Foundation is dedicated to empowering and inspiring children and young adults through the promotion of health, education, and athletics.
The foundatiomn hoped to raise $30,000 from the estimated 350 event attendees.
