Chevron and the Saints will continue to show their commitment to the development and education of our children by recognizing Teacher of the Week Katie Landry. Landry is in her fifth year as the kindergarten teacher at Eaton Park Elementary School in her hometown of Abbeville.
In order to develop an early bond with her young students, she relies on "The Human Connection" by showing them love and compassion, while continuously motivating them through positive reinforcement. Landry was honored to be the Chevron-Saints Teacher of the Week.
"The experience was absolutely wonderful! I am a huge Saints fan and this was the perfect honor for me because I could never have imagined my love for my job could give me such an unbelievable day," Landry said. "All of the people that I interacted with were kind and welcoming. Thank you to Chevron and the Saints program for treating me to such a special day!"
Landry earned her Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Louisiana Lafayette and her Master's in Educational Leadership from Arkansas State University.
