Saints S Roman Harper hosted a Saints Gatorade Junior Training Camp at R.J. Vial Elementary on Tuesday, Dec. 5.

Before Harper was introduced at the camp, the participants welcomed him with chants of "HAR-PER, HAR-PER, HAR-PER!"

Once the eager kids settled down, Harper took a few moments to urge the kids to work hard in the classroom just as he and his teammates do every day for the Saints.

During the event, Harper stressed the importance of the NFL's "Play 60" message. He told the students to "put the video game controller down" and go outside and be active for at least one hour every day.

Harper and the Saints Youth Programs Department then took some time to award prizes to students who correctly answered Saints trivia questions.

Selected students were then allowed to ask Harper questions. One student asked the Saints safety if he could do the "Moving Like Berney" dance, in which Harper happily obliged.

To cap off the event, students were finally separated into six groups and started rotations through the Junior Training Camp program.

Harper served as drill instructor for the "Touchdown Dive" station.

Before leaving, Harper visited every station to tell the kids goodbye with handshakes and high fives.
