Coach Juluke's Cougars have gotten off to a 3-0 start with wins over St. Paul's, Higgins, and Destrehan. Juluke began coaching in 1995 at E.H. Phillips Junior High School. He then made the move to Frederick Douglass High School where he spent four seasons. His next coaching jobs brought him to Brother Martin for a single year, St. Augustine's for two years, and O. Perry Walker for one season. Coach Juluke finally settled in at Edna Karr, where he is in his seventh year.

This Thursday, September 24th, the Cougars will travel to Harvey, LA to take on the Archbishop Shaw Eagles in Hoss Memtas Stadium at 7:00 p.m. As acknowledgement of Coach Juluke's great start to the season, the Saints are honored to donate $1,000 toward Edna Karr's Football program. The National Football League and the New Orleans Saints are delighted to recognize Coach Jabbar Juluke and his team's achievements this season.
