<span>Lou Valdin from Hahnville High School in Boutte, LA was selected as the NFL Coach of the Week for week four.

Coach Valdin has had an illustrious 29-year career in coaching football, ten of which have been at Hahnville. On September 26 the Tigers upset O' Perry Walker, 36-14. The Chargers were previously ranked number 2 in the state in class 4-A. Coach Valdin, no stranger to the NFL Coach of the Week award, has won the distinction four times in the past ten years and added one NFL Coach of the Year award in 2003. Coach Valdin believes in watching young players grow into men, while continuing to mold young minds is what keeps him coaching. Judging by his accolades, this isn't the first and it won't be the last time he receives recognition for his hard work and determination as a high school football coach.

This week the Hahnville Tigers will play on the road against the East Ascension Spartans, trying to bounce back after a tough loss to Destrehan.
The New Orleans Saints and the National Football League would like to congratulate Coach Lou Valdin on his victory. The Saints and the NFL will donate $1,000 to the athletic department of Hahnville High School on behalf of Coach Valdin's football program.
