NFL CAREER – This eighth-year guard was a prized free agent signing for New Orleans after playing in 103 career games with 77 starts, including 76 at both guard positions for the Los Angeles Rams (2019-22) and Buffalo Bills (2023-25). Edwards has also played in 12 postseason contests with ten starts at left guard for the Rams and Bills, giving the Black and Gold, a powerful option on the interior with extensive playoff experience. In 2025, he played in 17 regular games with 16 starts at left guard, as well as both postseason contests, blocking for the most productive rushing offense in the NFL. Originally a fifth round selection in the 2019 NFL Draft by the Rams out of Wisconsin.

2025 – In his final season with the Bills, played in 17 games with 16 starts at left guard and also opened both playoff contests. Blocked for a Buffalo rushing attack that ranked first in the NFL (159.6 ypg.), led by All-Pro RB James Cook III, who led the league in rushing (1,621 yards). 2024 – Took over as the Bill starting left guard and opened all 16 regular season games he played in along with all three of Buffalo's three playoff contests. Part of a Bills offensive line that surrendered the fewest sacks (14). 2023 – Played in all 17 regular season games and two playoff contests in first season with Bills. Blocked for offensive unit that ranked seventh in the NFL in rushing (130.1 ypg.), eighth in yards per carry (4.3) and tied for fifth in rushing touchdowns (22) with Cook selected to his first Pro Bowl after carrying 237 times for 1,122 yards (4.7 avg.) and catching a career-high 44 passes for 445 yards for 1,567 total yards from scrimmage. 2022 – In his final season with the Rams, started the first four games at left guard before being place on Injured Reserve on Oct. 11 (concussion). 2021 – Started all 17 regular season games and all four postseason contests during Rams' championship season. According to Pro Football Focus, his six sacks allowed in 2021 tied for sixth-best among offensive linemen with at least 20% of the league's highest play volume. 2020 – Started 14 of 16 games played for the Rams at left guard and the NFC Wild Card Playoff loss at Seattle. 2019 – As a rookie, appeared in all 16 games for the Rams with two starts at left guard and opening the final eight games at right guard, allowing only one sack…Made first start for a Week Seven contest in Atlanta (10/20)…Made his NFL debut on special teams in a Week One win at Carolina (9/18).
COLLEGE – The former high school quarterback began his career at the University of Wisconsin as a tight end before moving to offensive line prior to the start of training camp in 2016. He played in 37 games (31 starts) at right tackle and elected to forgo his senior season and declare for the 2019 NFL Draft…As a junior in 2018, he earned his third letter after starting 10 games at right tackle before missing the final three due to a knee injury. Was part of an offensive line that paved the way for Doak Walker Award winner Jonathan Taylor and the Wisconsin rushing attack which led the Big Ten and ranked no. 6 nationally averaging 273.4 yards per game. Named first-team All-Big Ten (media)…Made his college debut in 2016 at the Lambeau Field College Classic vs. Louisiana State...Majored in finance, investment and banking.
PERSONAL – Played three seasons at GB for Downers Grove (Ill.) North HS, and also was four-year letterwinner and two-year basketball team captain…Father, David, played football at Indiana University…Has served as a volunteer coach and a food pantry helper in his hometown community…In partnership with EVERFI's Character Playbook in 2021, Edwards helped kickoff the Rams' four-month virtual Mental Health series for LA region students grades 6-9. He virtually led a 45-minute session for more than 700 students and discussed mental wellness basics with the Rams Sports Psychologist…He and his wife, Karoline, have three daughters (Charlotte, Lilly & Margot).
