NFL CAREER – This eighth-year guard was a priority addition for New Orleans after playing in 103 career regular season games with 77 starts, including 76 at left guard and right guard for the Los Angeles Rams (2019-22) and Buffalo Bills (2023-25), since coming into the NFL as a fifth round selection out of Wisconsin in 2019. Edwards has played in 12 postseason contests with ten starts at left guard for the Rams and Bills, giving the Saints a powerful option on the interior with extensive playoff experience. In 2025, he played in all 17 regular season games with 16 starts at left guard, as well as both postseason contests, blocking for the most productive rushing offense in the NFL. 2025 – In his final season with the Bills, played in 17 games with 16 starts at left guard and also opened both playoff contests. Blocked for a Buffalo rushing attack that ranked first in the NFL (159.6 ypg.), led by All-Pro RB James Cook III, who led the league in rushing (1,621 yards). 2024 – Took over as the Bills starting left guard and opened all 16 regular season games he played in along with all three of Buffalo's three playoff contests. Part of a Bills offensive line that surrendered the NFL's fewest sacks (14), also blocking for Cook, who had 1,267 total yards from scrimmage and 18 touchdowns, tied for second in the league (16 rushing were also tied for first). 2023 – Played in all 17 regular season games and two playoff contests in first season with Bills. Blocked for offensive unit that ranked seventh in the NFL in rushing (130.1 ypg.), eighth in yards per carry (4.3) and tied for fifth in rushing touchdowns (22), with Cook selected to his first Pro Bowl after carrying 237 times for 1,122 yards (4.7 avg.) and catching a career-high 44 passes for 445 yards for 1,567 total yards from scrimmage. 2022 – In final season with Rams, started the first four games at left guard before being placed on Injured Reserve, Oct. 11 (concussion). 2021 – Started all 17 regular season games and all four postseason contests during Rams' championship season. According to PFF, his six sacks allowed in 2021 tied for sixth-best among offensive linemen with at least 20% of the league's highest play volume. 2020 – Started 14 of 16 games played for Rams at left guard and the NFC Wild Card Playoff loss at Seattle. 2019 – As rookie, played in all 16 games for Rams with two starts at left guard and opening final eight at right guard, allowing only one sack…Made first start in Atlanta, Oct. 20…Made his NFL debut on special teams in Week One at Carolina, Sept. 18.
COLLEGE – The former high school quarterback began his career at Wisconsin as a 245-pound tight end before moving to offensive line prior to the start of 2016 training camp. He played in 37 games (31 starts) at right tackle and elected to forgo his senior season and declare for the 2019 NFL Draft…As a junior in 2018, he earned his third letter after starting 10 games at right tackle before missing the final three due to a knee injury. Was part of an offensive line that paved the way for Doak Walker Award winner Jonathan Taylor and the Wisconsin rushing attack which led the Big Ten and ranked no. 6 nationally averaging 273.4 yards per game.
