The Las Vegas Raiders will be New Orleans' AFC West opponent, an addition following the 2021 expansion of the NFL regular season to 17 games in the offseason, marking the first time the Saints will host Las Vegas since the 2016 season opener. The Week 8 kickoff is schedule for October 30 at noon on CBS.

The Raiders lead the all-time series at 7-6-1. New Orleans has lost the last two meetings with the Raiders with the most recent being one of the first games played in the brand new stadium in Las Vegas in 2020. Prior to that was a 1 point 35-34 loss to the Oakland Raiders in 2016. The Raiders made a splash in the offseason by landing star wideout Davante Adams and veteran defender Chandler Jones. New Orleans Saints head coach Dennis Allen also was a head coach of the Raiders from 2012-2014.
