The New Orleans Saints' sponsorship of the YLC 10th annual Wednesday at the Square concert series will continue this evening with performances by Kermit Ruffins and the Barbecue Swingers and Jake Smith.  Record turnouts have been recorded over the course of the first three weeks of the concert series and tonight is expected to once again feature great food, music and festivities surrounding the two-and-a-half hour concert.

Each Wednesday the concert series runs from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in Lafayette Square just off Poydras Street between St. Charles Avenues and Camp Street across from Gallier Hall. "It's amazing how far this concert series has come," said Amy Boyle, Executive Director of the YLC. "We're talking about an event that started with a few hundred people attending each week to one that consistently averages 5,000 people per week and has become a rite of spring in New Orleans."

For the past three weeks, Saints Owner/Executive VP Rita Benson LeBlanc has been joined by some of the highest profiled players on the Saints' roster, as well as former players and local celebrities that have come out to enjoy the free festival and music.
