Getting to Chicago

Fans can travel to Chicago by flying into Midway International Airport or O'Hare International Airport. A direct flight from New Orleans to Chicago is about two and a half from take-off to touch down.

Midway International Airport (MDW)

There are many ways passengers can get to and from Midway International Airport.

Public transportation such as the CTA "L" trains and Metra offer up easy and economical travel. The CTA Orange Line station​​​ is located at the airport offering easy access for passengers.

Shuttles and regional buses service Midway, offering transportation for passengers in the city, suburbs and surrounding states.

App-based ride-share programs such as Uber and Lyft are available at Midway. Riders requesting at MDW should meet their driver downstairs on the arrivals level (near baggage claim). Exit through Door 4, cross the street, and meet your driver in the center lane. Rides from MDW to downtown Chicago are anywhere from $23-$40 depending on the size of the vehicle requested.

O'Hare International Airport

Public transportation such as the CTA "L" trains and Metra offer up easy and economical travel. The CTA Blue Line station​​​ is located right within the airport offering easy access for passengers.

Suttles and regional buses service O'Hare, offering transportation for passengers in the city, suburbs and surrounding states.

App-based ride-share programs such as Uber and Lyft are available at O'Hare. UberX and Lyft are available upstairs on the Departures level. UberBlack and Lyft Lux are available downstairs on the Arrivals level. Rides from O'Hare to downtown Chicago are anywhere from $30-$55 depending on the size of the vehicle requested.

Driving from I-55:
Take I-55, the Stevenson Expressway, northbound to Lake Shore Drive/Highway 41 North. Take LSD north to the 18th Drive exit.

Driving from I-290:
Take I-290, the Eisenhower Expressway, east to Congress Parkway. Take Congress Parkway to Columbus Drive. Turn right and take Columbus Drive south to the 18th Drive exit.

Driving from I-90/94:
Take I-90/94, the Dan Ryan Expressway, north to the Lake Shore Drive/22nd street exit. Stay to the right and exit to LSD. Take LSD/Highway 41 north to the 18th Drive exit.

Driving from I-94:
Take I-94, the Kennedy Expressway, south to the Congress Parkway exit. Follow Congress Parkway to Columbus Drive. Turn right on Columbus Drive and follow Columbus south to the 18th Drive exit.
