Todd Graffagnini's Saints training camp observations from Saturday, July 27

Taysom is special: It appears that the football Swiss Army knife's third year in the New Orleans Saints organization will continue to see him on the field as much as he can - other than spelling Drew Brees at times at quarterback. Hill will continue to be an important part of special teams including kickoff coverage and return. Of course, his punt block in Tampa last year completely turned the momentum of that game to the Saints favor.

It's Alex's time: Now entering his third season out of Florida, linebacker Alex Anzalone is poised to have a breakout season. He's healthy, quick as a cat and very physical. He can play all three linebacker positions and doesn't have to come off the field on third down. The familiarity with his teammates, as well as Dennis Allen's system, will only make him better.

Ready for pads: Two sessions in, it's good to see the players actually practicing in preparation for the upcoming season but there's not a whole lot to take away from practices when the team is running around in helmets and shorts. Sunday is a much anticipated day for players AND coaches as the pads will go on for the first time.
