On October 15, 2015 New Orleans Saints linebacker Michael Mauti blocked a punt and returned it for a touchdown during a Thursday Night Football game against the Atlanta Falcons.
It was the first blocked punt of Mauti's career and his first career touchdown.
Mauti and his father, Rich Mauti, became the only father-son combination to each score touchdowns.
Mauti was named the NFC Special Teams Player of the Week for the play.
