On May 16, 1986 former New Orleans Saints kicker Garrett Hartley was born.

Hartley played for the Saints from 2008-2013.

He kicked a 40-yard field goal in overtime against the Vikings to send the Saints to their first Super Bowl.

Hartley became the first kicker in Super Bowl history to covert three field goals of 40 yards or more.
