On July 4, 1974 former New Orleans Saints defensive tackle La'Roi Glover was born.

Glover played for the Saints from 1997-2001.

Glover was named the NFC Defensive Player of Year and NFL Alumni Defensive Lineman of the Year in 2000.

He was elected to the Saints Hall of Fame in 2013.
