On August 28, 2005 in anticipation of Hurricane Katrina's landfall, the New Orleans Saints move the team and operations staff to San Jose, CA three days early for the final preseason game at the Oakland Raiders.
The Saints practiced at San Jose State University in preparation for the preseason finale.
