On April 18, 1970 former New Orleans Saints offensive tackle Willie Roaf was born.

Roaf played for the Saints from 1993-2001.

The Saints drafted him eighth overall in the first round of the draft.

Roaf was elected to the New Orleans Saints Hall of Fame in 2008,  Louisiana Hall of Fame in 2009 and the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2012.

He was inducted into the Saints Ring of Honor in 2013.
