Saints to host inaugural "Bayou Blitz Adult Flag Football Tournament"

Bayou Blitz will benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities of New Orleans

*New Orleans, La. – The New Orleans Saints and McDonald's will be hosting the first ever Bayou Blitz Adult Flag Football Tournament presented by McDonald's on Saturday, April 9 at the team's training headquarters in Metairie (5800 Airline Dr., Metairie, LA).  Teams will compete in three different divisions: men's, women's and co-ed.  Admission is free to the public.*

  • WHO: 27 teams, in three different divisions (men's, women's & co-ed) will take part in a 5-on-5 flag football tournament on April 9 at the Saints' Training Facility.  Play will begin at 8:00 am and will wrap up late in the afternoon. New Orleans Saints all-time great running back Deuce McAllister will be on hand for media interviews from 9-10 am on Saturday. 
  • WHAT:  An adult flag football tournament to identify the best flag football teams in the region.  Winning teams will compete for prizes, tickets to a Saints game and special recognition at a 2016 Saints home game in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.  Proceeds from the event will go to Ronald McDonald House Charities of New Orleans.
  • WHERE: The New Orleans Saints Training Facility located at 5800 Airline Drive, Metairie, LA 70003. 
  • *WHEN:  *Admission is open to the public. There is no cost to for admittance.
