<span>New Orleans Saints Head Coach Sean Payton admitted that the Saints have spent a lot of time preparing for the NFL Draft, as usual. One school the team apparently spent quite a bit of time covering was Wake Forest, where the Saints grabbed two defensive standouts from the school in the fourth round.

"We spent a lot of time looking at Wake Forest and these two players stood out to us because they are playmakers and always around the ball," Payton said.

"In Vaughn's case, he is a player that has good size, outstanding speed, and very good range," Payton said. "He will probably begin his career with us at free safety because of his great speed and range. He has long and can really run."

Payton said that the team projects Arnoux, who was a middle linebacker at Wake Forest, to a weakside linebacker spot with the Saints. "Arnoux is a tough guy who is alert and is always around the ball when you spend time studying them."

Payton said that the two players the Saints selected both were positioned high enough on the Saints board that they were pretty obvious selections. "It's a coincidence they went to the same school, but they are coming out of a program that has made leaps and bounds the past five seasons. They produce tough and smart players and are a program that everyone knows about."
