New Orleans, La. – With the opening of the 2008 New Orleans Saints home schedule rapidly approaching, the New Orleans Saints announced today the grand opening of the Women's and Kids Saints Shop.

"We recognize the growing demand and enthusiasm for Saints gear from our stadium team store. We felt that we could enhance customer service and provide an outlet for our fans to get their official team licensed merchandise and apparel in the most convenient setting possible," said Saints Owner/Executive Vice President Rita Benson LeBlanc. "This is one example of us responding to our customers feedback. Instead of just adding a few pieces of women's and children's merchandise at our current team store, we instead chose to dedicate an entirely new and additional area to meet the demand of our customers."

The store is located on the Plaza Level of the Louisiana Superdome (1500 Sugar Bowl Drive) near the Gate A Entrance (Poydras Street entrance) and will be open on Saints' game days beginning two hours before kickoff and closing an hour after the conclusion of the games.

The Women's and Kids Saints Shop will offer exclusive women's and children's officially licensed merchandise including casual and athletic active wear, athletic apparel, licensed athletic apparel and other licensed products which can not be found at any other locations.

"We have created this opportunity for the women and children who proudly support the Saints and seek to show their spirit through authentic Saints' licensed products," said LeBlanc. "I am proud to say to that our attendance is made up of a larger percentage of women than most other NFL teams. I think the strength of our team at home is the passion of our fans and I hope these enhancements help everyone to enjoy their team that much more."
