Rained Out

Jackson, Miss. – Lighting halted the Saints' practice this morning around 9:40 a.m. on the campus of Millsaps College. While the first hour of practice was conducted in intermittent rain, the team was able to get in an hour's worth of drills before the team hightailed it to the locker room to change and then head to morning meetings.

The team is expected to return to practice this afternoon at 4:20 p.m. weather permitting and we will keep you updated on developments. The weather forecast calls for thunderstorms throughout the day.

A highlight from this morning's practice included a long pass completion from QB Drew Brees to WR Lance Moore that went for approximately 50 yards.

Players that missed practice included Jeremy Shockey (leg/coaches decision), Josh Bullocks (knee), Tracy Porter (hamstring) and Devery Henderson (hamstring) and Brian Young (leg-coaches decision).
