New Orleans Saints Coach Sean Payton announced several roster moves Tuesday at the beginning of his press conference.
The team has signed tight end Chris Manhertz and released tight end Michael Egnew.
The team also placed defensive tackle Lawrence Virgil and and nose tackle Austin Brown on injured reserve.
On Sunday Coach Payton announced that the team had waived receiver Andy Tanner from injured reserve.
