Mora, Commiskey to appear at Saints Hall of Fame Museum Sunday

The Jim Mora and Chuck Commiskey appearance will be on Sunday, October 4 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:10 p.m.

Former New Orleans Saints head coach Jim Mora and former New Orleans Saints guard Chuck Commiskey will appear at the Saints Hall of Fame Museum Sunday, prior to the New Orleans Saints game with the Dallas Cowboys.

Commiskey will appear from 5:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m. while Mora will appear from 6:10 p.m.-7:10 p.m.

Commiskey played for Mora with the Philadelphia and Baltimore Stars for three seasons (1983-1985) before playing for Mora with the Saints for three seasons (1986-1988), playing in 34 games. He was part of the first winning season and first playoff team in franchise history in 1987.

Mora served as head coach of the New Orleans Saints for 11 seasons (1986-1996) and guided the Saints to four playoff appearances and one division title. He led the Saints to their first ever playoff appearance in 1987 and was named NFL Coach of the Year. He posted a 93-74 record. Mora serves as an analyst for WDSU-TV. Mora was inducted into the Saints Hall of Fame in 2002.

The Saints Hall of Fame is located at Gate B on the Plaza Level of the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. Those holding tickets to the game are admitted free of charge on game days. The museum is open by appointment during the week between 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at a cost of $7 per adult or $5 for seniors, children under 12 and military. Groups of 10 or more are $5 per person.
