Madden Simulation Week 4: Saints @ Chargers

We fired up Madden 17 for a simulated preview of our game against San Diego.

In his first game in San Diego against his former team, Drew Brees threw for 351 yards and two touchdowns to lead the New Orleans Saints to a 24-16 win over the San Diego Chargers.

Brees' top targets were Brandin Cooks and Willie Snead, who combined for 8 receptions for 132 yards and two touchdowns.

Mark Ingram led the Saints in rushing with 87 yards on the ground.

After trailing 3-0 at the end of the first quarter, Brees found Cooks and Snead for scores in the second quarter to take a 14-3 halftime lead.

Ingram pushed the Saints lead to 21-6 in the third on a six-yard touchdown catch.

After hitting three field goals through the first quarter quarter, the Chargers finally found the endzone in the fourth quarter  on a 12-yard touchdown strike from Philip Rivers to Travis Benjamin. The late TD wasn't enough as the Saints went on to claim the road victory.
