Drew Brees third player in NFL history with 5,000 completions

Brees entered Sunday night needing nine completions

New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees became the third player in NFL history to reach 5,000 career completions. Brees entered Sunday night's game vs. the Dallas Cowboys to reach the mark. He hit the number on a 3-yard touchdown pass to Josh Hill in the first quarter.

The other two members of the club are Brett Favre and Peyton Manning.
